I thought I would try Biblios today before I go to a catalogers meeting tomorrow, where this db is on the agenda. So, I entered a simple record. It took quite a while; the system was very slow to respond. (I am using Firefox.) Anyway, I encountered several issues which I won't go into here, but I was wondering if there is a way to search the db by the Biblios-assigned number after you add the record to the db? Would it qualify as a keyword search (the number appears in the 035 and 998 fields)? Also, I have waited a short while to re-search the title by keyword and it doesn't show up. One post response said to wait about 60 seconds. I tried a couple of times after several minutes, and will continue to try througout the day to find my record. One other thing I will mention. After the record is saved to biblios, and you go back to the "Completed" file folder of saved records, there is no indication that the record was saved to biblios. I guess one would have to move these records to a newly-created folder that is labeled something like "Sent," so one doesn't get confused on what has been sent and what has not.
